NVIDIA Releases GeForce Driver 572.60 to Fix RTX 50 Series Black Screen Issue

Santa Clara, CA – NVIDIA has officially rolled out GeForce Game Ready Driver 572.60, aimed at addressing the black screen issues that have affected users of the RTX 50 series GPUs. The update also includes several bug fixes, performance optimizations, and expanded DLSS 4 support for new gaming titles.

Black Screen Issue Resolved

Owners of GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs have reported experiencing black screens and system crashes when updating to previous drivers. Some users were unable to turn on their displays even after BIOS resets and other troubleshooting steps. NVIDIA acknowledged the problem and promised a fix, which has now been delivered with Driver 572.60.

  • [SteamVR] Resolved stuttering issues in VR applications on RTX 50 GPUs.

General Bug Fixes

  • [Adobe Substance 3D Sampler] Fixed crashes at launch with R570 branch drivers.
  • [Adobe Substance 3D Painter] Corrected texture corruption in GPU raytracing-based baking results.
  • [VRay 6] Resolved low performance on CUDA Vpath tests for Blackwell GPUs.
  • [DisplayPort 1.4] Addressed audio issues at very high refresh rates with DSC enabled.
  • [2D Pixelation] Fixed slight image corruption in some applications.

DLSS 4 Expansion & Gaming Enhancements

The latest driver also brings Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) 4 support to more games. NARAKA: Bladepoint and Monster Hunter Wilds have been added to the DLSS 4-compatible titles list, allowing RTX users to enjoy improved visuals and performance.
